What are the hotel rates for the Hyatt Regency Denver?

  • Room rates for Government attendees are $156.00 plus taxes. You must be a Government employee (not a contractor) to qualify for the Government rates.
  • Room rates for Non-Government attendees are $209.00 plus taxes

How can someone reach me in case of emergency at the conference?
If someone from your family or office needs to reach you in an emergency situation while you’re at the conference, and they’ve exhausted all other possibilities, have the person call the MESC phone at 508.856.6056 and we’ll do our best to get the message to you.

Exhibitors and Sponsors

Where can I find information on reserving an exhibitor booth and sponsorships for the 2014 MES Conference?

What is included in the booth rental fee?
Each 10’ x 10’ booth includes one (1) complimentary registration, pipe and drape, one table, two chairs and a wastebasket, 1/8 page ad & logo displayed in conference program, electricity (5 amps), and participation in the “Exhibitor Welcome Reception” on Sunday in the Exhibits area. Ad & logo must be submitted in both .EPS & .JPG format no later than May 16, 2014. Upload instructions for graphics will be emailed to the technical contact listed on your Booth Reservation Request. 

What is your refund policy?
Booth/Sponsorship costs are NON-REFUNDABLE/NON-TRANSFERABLE and must be paid by invoice due date.

Where can I find information regarding the MESC 2013 Exhibitor Services?
The drayage company for the 2014 Medicaid Enterprise Systems Conference will be announced in mid-February 2014.

Where can I find a list of attendees?
The MESC 2014 pre-conference attendee list will be sent to the individual who received the sponsorship invoice approximately three weeks prior to the conference, and an updated list will be sent one week prior to the conference. Attendee information provided will include name, title, organization and email address.

When can I register for the conference?
Registration for the 2014 Medicaid Enterprise Systems Conference will be open in mid-March 2014.

What will my registration include?
Your registration fee provides you with admission to all conference sessions and conference sponsored events (except those that require additional fees from attendees). Your registration fee also provides each attendee with breakfast on Tuesday through Thursday, snack breaks on Monday through Thursday, and lunch on Monday through Thursday.

Travel To And From The Conference

Which airport is closest to the Denver Convention Center?
The Denver International Airport – 8500 Peña Boulevard – Denver, Colorado  80249-6340

Do you offer a Shuttle Service?
Not currently, however we will be working with a shuttle service company in order to provide discounted shuttle services from the Denver International Airport to the Hyatt Regency Denver.

We will provide additional details as they become available.

Where can I find directions to the Denver Convention Center?
The Colorado Convention Center is located in downtown Denver at 700 14th Street. The closest major intersection is Colfax Avenue and Speer Boulevard. There are several entrances into the facility, but the most common entrances are located off of 14th Street between Stout and California Street.

For specific directions in how to get to the Colorado Convention Center, please go to http://denverconvention.com/attend-an-event/getting-to-the-center  to enter your “Starting Address” and a map and directions will be populated.  If you need further assistance with the directions to the facility, please call 303. 228.8000.

Do you offer discounted airfare?

Speaker Resources

The 2014 Medicaid Enterprise Systems Conference staff is committed to assisting all speakers in making sure their presentations are a success. There are many logistical details that are best organized in advance, so your cooperation in responding by the various deadlines as communicated to you is sincerely appreciated. All speakers attending the conference are required to register and pay the conference registration fee. Please contact David Huffman at David.Huffman@UMassMed.edu or 508.856.6425 for specific details.

We suggest that you have your presentations available on a USB drive in order to load it onto the conference laptop machines. Please be sure to save a copy of your presentation from the USB drive to the desktop of the conference laptop, and have your contact information listed in your presentation.

Post conference
All of the conference presentations will be available on the conference website shortly after the conference.

Notification of the acceptance of your abstract will be sent by email by April 11, 2014.  If you have any questions regarding your submission please contact David Huffman at 508.856.6425 or david.huffman@umassmed.edu .
Each speaker is asked to submit a brief (no more than 100 words) bio. Speaker bios can submitted online in the user account section of this website.

Industry Sessions

What is an Industry Session and how can my company reserve one? 
An “Industry Session” is a presentation sponsored by one of our Industry partners. Topics for Industry Sessions are chosen by the sponsor of the session. The presentations are not reviewed by the Planning Committee. The sponsor of the Industry Session is solely responsible for the material being presented.
